Jean-Christophe Rufin, Katiba

I had good memories of my readings Rufin. Adventure novels, always well documented. Novels that take you quietly Cairo Brazil smooth, always with happiness ...
Alas, it was a little disappointed I confess .....
And yet the subject could be exciting (the secret service track down dangerous terrorists in the desert of the Sahel).
Yet the author knows his subject as he participated with the agents of the DGSE in hunting down members of al-Qaeda after the assassination of French tourists in Mauritania ...
Unfortunately, this novel has returned too want the geo-political context and procedures of security ervices more like a documentary on terrorism in Mauritania as a breathless thriller .... Very slowly, a little cumbersome, in short, I do not recommend it for those looking to have a good time ....
